G-Bio Initiative (GBI) is Japanese company with its registered address in Tokyo. GBI is in the business of providing the world with sustainable and responsible energy solutions through its own proprietary system known as G-Bio Power Generation.

What is G-Bio Power Generation?

G-Bio Power Generation is a renewable power generation system in which electricity is produced by special diesel generators using vegetable oil as the power source. G-Bio Power Generation is superior to other power systems because it is extremely stable, exceptionally safe, completely sustainable and most of all it truly preserves the environment.

Vision

To continually provide sustainable and responsible solutions to address the strategic energy needs of a more secure and safe world.

Mission

To provide all-inclusive Project Development (PD), responsive Project Management (PM), and skilled Operation and Maintenance (O&M) to Independent Power Producers (IPP) throughout the world.

Objectives

(1)To supply our own selected ‎vegetable oil as a superior primary energy source. (2)To ensure a safe and stable energy supply with proven economic efficiency having no negative impact upon the environment.

Introduction of G-Bio Project

Reduction of Greenhouse Gases

Reducing damage to the environment caused by energy use, has become an increasingly important issue throughout the world. Emissions of greenhouse gases, mainly CO2 has increased thus the problem of global warming is worsening. Most greenhouse gas emissions are due to the burning of fossil fuels such as oil and coal in thermal power generation.

Policy of the Japanese government: FIT

The Japanese government raised the “conformity to environment” as a new policy of energy, and in 2012, the “FIT” system (The feed-in-tariffs for renewable energy) came into force. Under this system, electric power companies are required to buy electricity generated from renewable energy sources within a certain price and period of time. With this system, the momentum to regulate a wide range of renewable energy sources such as solar power and bio-fuel has been greatly enhanced.

Distinguishing Feature of G-Bio Project

The G-Bio project shall become a major solution to environmental and power shortage issues. This project is a carbon-neutral operation. That is, plant-based fuel is used as the power source which does not affect the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere. In addition, electricity is generated using special diesel generators that can adjust to fluctuations in demand. This will provide a continuous stable supply of the appropriate amount of electricity to consumers. (This is not possible in wind or solar power generation systems). We named this generation method "G-Bio Power Generation", and we will certainly expand its application in the future. Under the FIT system, the price of electricity using the G-Bio Power Generation system is guaranteed for 20 years, thereby rendering the investment risk of this project very low compared to other power generation businesses. We look forward to your participation in our G-Bio Power Generation project that will light up and power the world for generations to come.
